Scott, fabulous post.
Here's what I like about it.
1. Simple 1-2-3 formula.
2. Easy to remember.
3. Easy to apply.
4. Easy to teach.
5. focus on true communication and rapport building. It reminds me of the courtship metaphor I use in my book to help people understand that you don't say, "Hello. Will you marry me?"

Hi Scott, great post!! We really like your Deflect, Connect, Redirect technique!! It's a very professional way to let someone know you're not interested in their program right now and then you open the door for a possible relationship to see if there's other ways you can work together. So many people just pitch each other back and forth and no business gets done but you've given a great way to provide mutual value to each other... thanks for the lesson!!
